NYC Day Three

On Day Three we took a trip to China Town, which is by far one of my favorite parts, I enjoy going into all of the shops and eating the cuisine.
One of the best parts about China Town is the food, I have a slight obsession with these buns, they are one of my favorite foods.
You can find these delicious buns at any bakery in China town, but pictured above is Dragon Tail Bakery.
After China Town, I got to walk through the Chelsea Market, which is probably one of the coolest places. I loved it!
When in New York we visit Times Square almost every night!
Found this awesome view just steps away from our hotel, a total gem.

NYC Day Two

I started my second full day in NYC by visiting the 9/11 memorial for the first time, It was closed when I visited New York earlier this year. This memorial is absolutely breathtaking, and when walking around this memorial it is completely silent, I really could never imagine what it would be like to be in New York on that day.
On a lighter note, After visiting the Memorial We took a ride on the free Staten Island ferry to look at The Statue Of Liberty.

NYC Night Life

New York City during the day is one thing, but when the sun goes down, that's when the City really shines. (Literally). The lights are so bright in the City at night it sort of feels like day time. I love NYC because I don't even have to do much, just walking around and exploring is amazing.
Being able to travel to NYC during Christmas time has been a dream of mine since I was little and getting to experience all of the lights was amazing. It really feels like Christmas, just breathtaking.
Enjoy my photo shoot in the subway ha :) .

NYC Day One

Ahh it feels so good to return to one of my favorite places on earth. In 2013 I fell in love with New York City, and have visited twice this year. By far one of my favorite places in NYC is Central Park, It's so beautiful and when I'm walking around I feel like i'm a character in gossip girl.
This trip was a little different then my last, I got to see SNOW for the first time ever, sadly it didn't snow while i was there, but there was some on the ground! I took advantage and had my first snow ball fight and made a snowman!
Yes, I did feel like I was in Home Alone. ;)

For my Outfit on Day One I really just focused on staying warm!

Holiday DIY Decorations

I don't know about you, but I LOVE this time of year! The holiday season is definitely my favorite, and decorating for it is just as amazing too. I decided to share some super cute and simple DIY holiday decorations.

Christmas Trees:

For the first project here are some of the items you will need!
Start by making a cone shape with some printer paper, cut the ends to make it even, and then tape it so you are left with a cone shape!
I made the cones in multiple sizes!
For the first one I just covered the whole cone in this green ribbon.
After I finished gluing the ribbon onto the cone I decided to add some sequence to look like ornaments. I then added a star on top using a yellow pipe cleaner.
For the green tree I used garland and the silver one is just some ribbon. This idea is super simple and cute! You can customize your tree to look however you'd like.

 Candy Cane Jar:

Start with a Mason or regular jar, any size will work!
Fill the jar with mini candy canes and add some ribbon and you're done!
This is so simple, but so festive!..and tasty :)

 Mason Jar Snow Globe:

Start by taking a mason jar and adding your favorite christmas knick-knack. I'm using a little snow man, but you can use whatever you have! Miniature Christmas Trees work perfect for this as well!
After gluing the knick-knack to the bottom of the jar, add some fake snow!
Add some decorative ribbon and you are done!
For the second snow globe I did the same exact thing, only for this one I flipped the jar upside down!
Here's how I decorated for the Holiday Season!
 Happy Holidays!
